Athletic Background

I did not have an athletic background before derby. Now I’m an amateur athlete playing a full-contact international sport on roller skates! If I can do it, anyone can.

Bio

Terrified, I walked through the doors with brown rental rink skates, a bicycle helmet, skateboard pads and a football mouth guard and never looked back. Derby took me out of my comfort zone and positively pushed me in a direction of learning, strength and self-confidence.
