Athletic Background

I was a high school State Champion in the 4×400 and 3rd in the long jump. I kept running and jumping throughout college and earned conference honors in the 400 meter hurdles. After college, I had a hard time finding a sport that “clicked.” Derby is it!

Bio

Speed has always been a big part of the Kansas Comet’s life. Racing the boys at recess, sprinting around the track, and jumping hurdles, Kansas was born for Derby. Born in a small town in Kansas, she rolled in to Chicago for college, marriage, a grownup job, and a skatetot. Now she’s learning how to skate, and, more importantly, how to fall and get back up. Bring on the bruises.

Traveling, hanging with her skatetot and family, naps, lots of naps, a good, old fashioned parade.

Whiners, Dorothy jokes, liver pate.
